Cuba demands justice for the Palestinian people before the International Court of Justice

The Hague, February 21, 2024. Today the Cuban delegation, headed by Vice Minister Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, and composed by the Ambassador of Cuba to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Anet Pino Rivero, representatives of the Cuban Foreign Ministry and the diplomatic mission accredited to the Netherlands, participated in the hearings of the International Court of Justice for the case: Advisory Opinion on the Legal Implications resulting from Israel’s Practices and Policies in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba

On February 14, 2024, the diplomatic and consular relations between the Republic of Cuba and the Republic of Korea were established through an exchange of Diplomatic Notes between the Permanent Representations of both countries to the United Nations in New York. 

The establishment of official relations between the two countries was carried out in conformity with the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, the International Law and in accordance with the spirit and norms established in the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of April 18, 1961. 

Commemoration of the 65th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution at the Embassy of Cuba in the Netherlands

The Hague, February 9, 2024. Representatives of the Dutch Chancellery, the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, International Organizations based in The Hague, the Dutch commercial, cultural and sports sectors, and friends of the solidarity with Cuba in the Netherlands and Luxembourg, accompanied the Cuban Embassy members in the commemoration of the 65th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution.

Cultural exchange between the Netherlands and Cuba grows

The Hague, January 29, 2024. The recently concluded International Festival Jazz Plaza 2024 became a favorable setting for the promotion of cultural exchange between Cuba and the Netherlands in the musical field.

The renowned Dutch Swing College Band, for the first time in its almost 80 years of existence, performed 3 times in Cuba as part of the Festival. This prestigious group is an international reference for classical Jazz and has over 500 albums recorded.
