Meeting with Mr. Claude Wiseler

Luxembourg, September 4, 2024. As part of her visit, the Cuban Ambassador, Anet Pino Rivero, held a meeting with the President of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg, Mr. Claude Wiseler, deputy for the Christian Social Popular Party (CSV).

Pino Rivero offered her interlocutor an update on the economic and social situation in Cuba, highlighting the effects caused by the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the United States Government against Cuba and the unjust inclusion of Cuba in the List of Countries Sponsors of Terrorism.

Cuba present at the Conference on cancer vaccines in the Netherlands

Amsterdam, September 4, 2024. Professor, Dr. Mónica Bequet Romero, from the Center for Genetics and Biotechnology (CIGB), presented the experiences of Cuba at the II Conference on vaccines and immunological treatments against cancer, held in the capital of the Netherlands.

The organizers, professors from the University of Amsterdam, invited the Cuban scientist to give a presentation on Cuban studies and the development of the HEBERSa Vax vaccine, for the treatment of various types of cancer.

Meeting with Mr. Carlo Thelen

Luxembourg, September 4, 2024. The Cuban Ambassador, Anet Pino Rivero, as part of her visit to Luxembourg, held a meeting with Mr. Carlo Thelen, Director General of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.

The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce is an institution that promotes and encourages economic and commercial relations between Luxembourg and other countries of the world. For this reason, topics of common interest were addressed, such as the identification of economic and commercial sectors that allow promoting relations between Luxembourg and Cuba in this area.

Meeting with Mr. Georges Ternes

Luxembourg, September 4, 2024. The Cuban Ambassador, Anet Pino Rivero, as part of her visit to Luxembourg, held a meeting with Mr. Georges Ternes, Director of Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs. This department belongs to the Luxembourg Foreign Ministry and its actions are conceived in the spirit of sustainable development understood in its social, economic and environmental aspects. Its priority is the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
