Abuja, March 15, 2025 – Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla arrived in Nigeria this afternoon as part of an official tour of Africa. During his stay, he will hold an intense agenda of official meetings with the country's leaders, with the goal of strengthening the historic ties and cooperation between the two nations. He was received at Abuja's Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by Ambassador Wahab Adekola Akande, Chief of Protocol of the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria Miriam Morales Palmero.

Abuja, February 19, 2025 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Nigeria, Miriam Morales Palmero, signed the book of condolences opened at the Embassy of Namibia in Nigeria after the death of the historic leader and first president of Namibia, Sam Nujoma. Meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Cuba and Nigeria Strengthens Bilateral Cooperation
Abuja, March 17, 2025 – Within the framework of the official visit to Nigeria, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla met with his Nigerian counterpart, Yusuf Maitama Tuggar. During the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to expanding international cooperation and mutual support.
As a result of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Foreign Ministries of both countries, with the aim of strengthening international exchange, cooperation, and collaboration.
