50 years of diplomatic relations, we celebrate the Cuban Culture Day

October 18, 2024.-The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in the Federal Republic of Nigeria held an event this afternoon to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Nigeria, which took place on July 1, and the Day of Cuban Culture. Closing Ceremony of the 19th Abuja International Trade Fair

Abuja, October 2, 2024.- The Ambassador of Cuba in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Miriam Morales Palmero participated this afternoon in the Closing Ceremony of the 19th Edition of the Abuja International Trade Fair, which took place between September 20th and October 1st.

During the meeting, Cuban delegation was awarded with the recognition of the “International Delegation of the Year” as a result of the program and the meetings held during their stay in the capital of the country and their outstanding participation in the fair.

Cuba and Nigeria lay the foundation for broader development in the field of Health.

Abuja, August 19, 2024.- In the year of the 50th anniversary of bilateral relations between Cuba and Nigeria, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Drugs, Equipment and Medical Devices Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Cuba (CEDMEC) and the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control of Nigeria (NAFDAC).

Delist Cuba from states supporting terrorism – Falana tells US govt

Abuja, June 27 2024.- Prominent human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, SAN, has called on the United States government to remove Cuba from its list of states allegedly sponsoring terrorism.

In a statement released on Thursday, Falana emphasized the need for the U.S. to comply with United Nations General Assembly resolutions that have annually demanded an end to the U.S. blockade against Cuba and the lifting of the economic and trade embargo imposed since February 1962.
