Abuja, September 9, 2023.- This morning the Cuban Ambassador, Miriam Morales Palmero, was received at the headquarters of the Nigerian Foreign Ministry by Ambassador Ademu Ibrahim Lamuwa, permanent secretary of the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

New beginnings between Cuba and the Ogun State Senate

Abuja, September 7th, 2023.- Mrs. Miriam Morales, ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Nigeria, received His Excellency Mr. Otunba Engr. Gbenga Daniel, senator for the state of Ogun.

During the meeting they addressed topics of common interest, especially those related to the health sector. The Senator recognized Cuba's advances in medicine and highlighted the cultural and religious ties that unite us with the State of Ogun, a practitioner of the Yoruba religion, with part of the Cuban population.

Abuja, September 6th, 2023.- The Cuban Ambassador in Nigeria, Miriam Morales, held a cordial meeting this afternoon with the Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Mr. Awall Wagris Mohammed, at the headquarters of the Cuban Foreign Ministry in Abuja.

Both diplomats addressed issues of common interest regarding the Bilateral Agenda in the interest of continuing to strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation.

Nigeria, September 4, 2023.-The Cuban ambassador, Miriam Morales Palmero, participated in a meeting organized at the Nigerian House of Culture, in order to finalize the details about Cuba's presence at the 16th International Art and Crafts Exhibition 2023, which will take place on the 7th, September 8 and 9 in Abuja.
