Minister of the Interior of Nigeria receives the Ambassador of Cuba.
Nigeria, December 2, 2020. The Nigerian Minister of the Interior, Oghbeni Rauff Aregbesola, received the Cuban ambassador to that country, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, at the headquarters of that relevant Nigerian government institution.
During the meeting, the Nigerian Minister referred to the intense friendship and admiration he feels for Cuba and its people, of whom he highlighted the arduous role in the struggles for the liberation of the African peoples and currently the support in public health and the education.
Cuba does not allow the United States to interfere in internal affairs.

On the late night of Saturday, November 28, 2020, the General Director in charge of the United States of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Carlos Fernández de Cossío, summoned the United States Chargé d'Affaires Timothy Zúñiga-Brown, to whom he conveyed that “Cuba it does not allow the United States or any state to interfere in the internal affairs of the country ”. He also asked him to reiterate that statement to the State Department.

Nigeria, 25.11.2020. With a deep revolutionary feeling and in remembrance of the legacy of the Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz, the 4th Anniversary of his death was commemorated in Nigeria.
The event was chaired by Comrade Najeem Usman Yasin, Vice President of the Nigerian Labor Congress (NLC) and the Cuban Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Clara M. Pulido Escandell.
