Meeting with Friends of Solidarity
Abuja, February 9, 2024.- The Cuban ambassador to Nigeria, Miriam Morales Palmero, held a meeting with political journalists and friends of the solidarity movement with Cuba in Nigeria.
The moment was favorable for the exchange of ideas about future actions of the Solidarity Movement with Cuba in order to support the just struggle of the Cuban people to achieve liberation from the unjust blockade of the United States against the island.

Visit to friends of ECOWAS
Abuja, February 7, 2024.- The Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria Miriam Morales Palmero visited the headquarters of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) where she met with a great friend and expert on Cuba, the Director of the Department of Political Relations, Peace and Security, Ambassador Abdel Fatau Musah.
They exchanged about the history of Cuba, its merits and its historical leaders. She recognized Cuba's contribution to the African continent, especially in the training of quality professionals for the internal development of the countries.
Meeting with Wives of Nigerian Ambassadors.
Abuja, January 30th, 2024.- Ambassador Miriam Morales Palmero received at the headquarters of the Cuban Foreign Ministry in Nigeria to Dr. Angela Adamu and others members of the Intergraid Teach4change Foundation.
During the meeting they exchanged on topics of common interest, including the empowerment of women in diplomacy.
Third Secretary Ana Flavia Gómez Pavot was present on the Cuban side.

Meeting with Director of NAFDAC
Abuja, January 29th,2024.- The Ambassador of Cuba in Nigeria Miriam Morales Palmero held a fruitful meeting with Dr. Abdulsalam A. Ozigis, Director of the Nigerian regulatory entity NAFDAC.
The meeting was favorable to discussing interests and perspectives of relations between both countries.
Third Secretary Ana Flavia Gómez Pavot was also present on the Cuban side.

A FLOWER FOR THE APOSTLE
JANUARY 28, 2024.- Cuban and Nigerian embassy workers came together this Sunday, January 28, to pay a well-deserved tribute to the National Hero of Cuba, José Julian Martí Pérez on the 171st anniversary of his birth.
With the title of "A flower for the Apostle", this morning the planting of specimens of our national flower, the Butterfly Flower, and voluntary work took place, as a reflection of the consecration and spirit of resistance of the Cuban people.
