Dublin, May 10, 2022: The spokesman for International Relations of the Sinn Féin Party, John Brady TD, visited the Cuban Embassy in Ireland in the morning, where he was received by the Cuban Ambassador, Bernardo Guanche Hernández. The representative of Sinn Féin conveyed two messages of condolences for the death of comrade Ricardo Alarcón de Quesada, former President of the National Assembly of People's Power and Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as for the tragic consequences of the accident that occurred in Havana at the “Hotel Saratoga” and its surroundings.

Press in Indonesia highlights President López Obrador's visit to Cuba

Jakarta, May 10.- The digital newspaper Republika.ID published an article reporting the visit to Cuba of the Mexican president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, as part of a regional tour of Central America and the Caribbean.

During the visit of the Mexican president to the largest of the Antilles, the article highlights, the signing of several agreements between the two countries to expand cooperation in the fields of public health, culture and economics.

Cuban Ambassador participates in celebration of Europe Day.

Wellington, May 10. Ambassador Edgardo Valdés attended the Europe Day celebration, organized by H.E Nina Obermaier, EU Ambassador to New Zealand.

The event, held at the Parliament building, was attended by local personalities and members of the Diplomatic Corps, among others.

Cuba, first bet in the Americas by Archipelago tourist group

Havana, 10 May 2022. With more than 200 hotels around the world, Cuba is the first bet in the Americans for the Archipelago International tourist group, which is based in Indonesia.

During today, between 10 am and 7 pm, the Condolence´s Book for the death of comrade Ricardo Alarcón de Quesada, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and former President of the National Assembly of People's Power, was kept open at the headquarters of the Embassy of Cuba in Dominica.  The Condolence´s Book will remain open tomorrow, May 10, at the same time.

Victoria, 9 de Mayo._The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Seychelles sent a message of support and condolences to the government and people of Cuba, after the unfortunate accident that occurred last Friday May 6, at the Saratoga Hotel in Havana.

“We were greatly saddened by the news of the explosion at the hotel Saratoga in Havana, following a gas leak on Friday 6 May 2022 which has led loss of lives”.
