Cuba denounces at the 9th Summit of the Global Forum on Migration and Development, the US hostile policy against the island on migration.

New Delhi, India. December 13, 2016.  The 9th Summit of the Global Forum on Migration and Development was held from 10th to 12th December in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. This event was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of this country Ms. Sheikh Hasina who affirmed the international community is working with states and civil society to push for a comprehensive Global Compact of Migrants and Refugees by 2018.

In a diaphanous and fraternal atmosphere, the President of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association along with several graduates in Cuba, spoke with the Director General of Bilateral Affairs of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Gerardo Peñalver Portal. The meeting took place at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission of Cuba in Liberia, in which Cuba's Chargé d'Affaires in Liberia, Yordenis Despaigne Vera, also participated.

Viva Fidel’ Reverberates through the Condolence Meeting in New Delhi

“FIDEL continues to live among all us Cubans and we will continue to carry forward the legacy of Fidel Castro by staying true to the revolution”, pledged the Cuban Ambassador Oscar Martinez. He was speaking at the memorial meeting organised by both the Communist Party of India (Marxist), CPI(M) and the Communist Party of India, CPI to pay homage to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution in New Delhi.

Cuba celebrates Human Rights International Day

Cuba joins the international community on the celebration of the Human Rights International Day this December 10th, having the certainty that in this Caribbean nation, the full exercise of political rights and civil liberties, as well as economic, social and cultural rights, is guaranteed.

The triumph of the Revolution in 1959, led by the Historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, made possible that Cuban men and women could achieve significant advances in the enjoyment of the human rights.
