Minister of Health of Ghana receives a special representative of the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba

Mr. Kwaku Agyeman Manu, Minister of Health of the Republic of Ghana, held a working meeting at the Headquarter of the Ministry of Health with Dr. Luis Manuel Nafez Abi-Rezh, Business Director of the Cuban Medical Services Limited, who traveled to Ghana as special representative of the Cuban Ministry of Health.

The President of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines-Cuba Friendship Association, Renwick Rose, sent a message to the Cuban Embassy in Kingstown expressing the solidarity of the members of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines-Cuba Friendship Society with the Government and the people of the Republic of Cuba in the hours of pain and suffering caused by the ravages of Hurricane Irma. In his message, the President of the Association regrets the loss of human lives and expresses his deep grief at the difficulties that the Cuban people are facing at the moment.

On the occasion of the loss of lives and the damage caused by Hurricane Irma on Cuba, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines expressed, on behalf of its Government and people, a message of its solidarity and empathy with the Government and the Cuban people in this difficult period. In the document, the Ministry transmits to the relatives of the victims, its deepest condolences while pointing out its confidence that the strength and resilience that characterize the Cuban people, serve to comfort their pain in these moments of loss.

Cuban Ambassador reaffirms negative impact of the blockade as he met with farmers in the United States

The Ambassador of Cuba to the United States, José Ramón Cabañas Rodríguez, reaffirmed on September 12, in the framework of the annual meeting of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA), the negative impact of the blockade against Cuba as he explained how the regulations imposed by this policy are the main hindrance against the economic- commercial relations and the cooperation between Cuba and the United States, particularly, in the agricultural sector. 
 

The Cuban Ambassador to Iran says goodbye

The Cuban Embassy in Tehran offered a cocktail on the occasion of the farewell of its Ambassador, Vladimir González Quesada, who returns to Cuba after four years of work in the Persian nation.

 

The event was attended by executives and officials of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, led by the Deputy Director General for the Americas, Hojatollah Soltaní, as well as members of the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the country and some Iranian friends.

St. John, September 12, 2017.A group of 12 Cuban electricians began their work in Antigua in collaboration with APUA as part of the electrification and modernization of the national electricity system. In the next few days they will join the work of recovery of the network in Barbuda, totally affected by the passage of Hurricane Irma. At present they have already began the electrification of a community under construction in Antigua.
