Nassau, February 9, 2018. - The Ambassador of Cuba to The Bahamas, Ismara Vargas Walter, held a cordial meeting with the Foreign Minister of The Bahamas, Hon. Darren Allan Henfield, who attended the annual luncheon with the Diplomatic and the Honorary Consular Corp accredited in The Bahamas.

During the exchange, both parties reviewed the state of bilateral relations and checked key pending issues in their respective agendas.

Barbadian Minister of Tourism to evaluate multi-destination tourism with Cuba.

The Minister of Tourism of Barbados, Richard Sealy, received Cuban Ambassador, Francisco Fernandez, to evaluate initiatives that are feasible to be applied by both countries in the multi-destination modality, covered by the Memorandum of Understanding signed last December by Cuba and the countries of the Community of the Caribbean (CARICOM). Among the ideas discussed are those of taking advantage of the flow of tourists from South America and from Europe who come to the Caribbean in different ways.
