The Scientific Adviser of the Council of State and Vice-President of the Cuban Academy of Sciences, Dr. Fidel Castro Díaz-Balart, successfully concluded his visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, responding to an invitation from the Vice-President for Science and Technology of the Persian nation, Dr. Sorena Sattari.

Havana, Nov 16 (Prensa Latina) The Austrian vice-minister of Science, Research and Economy, Bernadette Marianne Gierlinger, is  beginning a visit to Cuba today, with the purpose of signing a memorandum of understanding on international economic collaboration.

According to a press release published on the website of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, the Austrian official was invited by the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment.

New York, 16 November 2016. Cuba reiterated today that it turns out to be unsustainable to continue financing Special Political Missions through the UN Regular Budget and considered that such Missions should be financed in the same way as peacekeeping operations, including the use of its scale of assessments and an account exclusively dedicated to them.
