Monrovia, July 26, 2021.- The staff of the Cuban Embassy in Liberia salutes the 68th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks, National Rebellion Day, demanding the end of the blockade against Cuba, and putting the heart in everything it does will preserve the conquests and continue to build the socialist project with dignity.

Monrovia, July 24, 2021.- Head of the Cuban Mission in Liberia exposes the truth of the Greater Antilles and condemns new imperial aggression. She explains the significance for Cubans of the celebration of July 26, National Rebellion Day, denounces the media campaign against Cuba and attempts to interfere in the island's internal affairs, and and repudiates the unjust economic, commercial and financial blockade that has been in place for more than 60 years and has caused so much damage to the Cuban people.

In turn, it reaffirms its patriotic conviction and its right to national sovereignty and independence, supporting the Cuban Revolution and demanding an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade that continues to cause enormous damage to the Cuban people.

Liberia-Cuba Friendship Group joins the Cuban Embassy collective in Monrovia to denounce the US blockade against the island.

Monrovia, June 17, 2021 - Members of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Group and the Cuban Embassy collective in this West African country joined their voices and through the virtual event "Solidarity vs. Blockade" denounced the US political subversion and blockade of the largest of the Antilles.

Cuban Head of Mission holds friendly meeting with president of the Liberia-Cuba solidarity group.

Monrovia, June 10, 2021 - A friendly meeting was held today between the Cuban head of mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera and the president of the Liberia-Cuba solidarity group Mr. Kesselee King Kanneh.

During the meeting, the Cuban diplomat informed the head of the solidarity group in the African country about the celebration of a new virtual event Solidarity vs. Blockade and thanked the members of the friendship association for their firm support to Cuba against the blockade, aggressions and media manipulation.

Acting Liberian Foreign Minister receives Cuban head of mission.

Monrovia, May 5, 2021 - The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, Hon. Henry B. Fahnbulleh received the Cuban head of mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera, being his office, the scene of this meeting at the Chancellery of the African country.

During the meeting, which took place in a fruitful and cordial atmosphere, bilateral and multilateral issues of interest to both countries were discussed.

Monrovia, May 3, 2021 - At the headquarters of our Cuban Embassy in Liberia, we welcomed the visit of the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bureau of American Affairs Hon. Maxwell P. Vah, who was received by the Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.

During the exchange, which took place in a constructive and cordial atmosphere, several topics related to cooperation in the multilateral sphere were discussed, and the common interest in developing it was ratified.

Monrovia, March 25, 2021.- Members of the Liberia-Cuba solidarity group graduated from Cuba followed with attention the virtual conference "Cuba for Life: Experiences in confronting COVID-19" promoted by the "Sao Paulo Forum" as part of the Campaign #BlockadeNoSolidarityYes.

The event was an excellent occasion to note the signs of solidarity of brothers and sisters around the world, and the recognition of our science and health experts for the work they do.
