Mr. Zagdjav Deleg, President of Peace and Friendship Organization of Mongolia, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Raúl Delgado Concepción, at the organization's headquarters in the capital of Mongolia in  a cordial work meeting. The meeting addressed different issues of international political and social news, as well as the intimate bonds of friendship that unite both countries.

Peace Council of Jamaica issues statement on the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons

KINGSTON, JAMAICA, September 26th, 2017.The Peace Council of Jamaica made a public statement urging all the governments from Latin America and the Caribbean to act in correspondence with the Declaration of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) to preserve the region as Zone of Peace, through the signature and ratification of the Treaty for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, launched by United Nations last September 20th, 2017.

New Delhi, April 7, 2017. The Cuban Ambassador to India, Oscar Martínez Cordovés attended the Inaugural Conference of the Association of Parliamentarians for Peace, held this day at the seat of Parliament. The theme of the activity was "The critical challenges of our times: the role of governments, civil society and grassroots organizations".

The activity was chaired by Prof. P. J. Kurian, vice-president of the Upper House, who spoke on behalf of the president of that chamber and the Vice-President of the Republic, M. H. Ansari.

Danish-Cuban Friendship Association pays tribute to Fidel in its annual meeting

Copenhagen- The Danish-Cuban Friendship Association, in its annual Assembly held on Saturday, March 25, paid tribute to Fidel Castro, the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution. Its members also reaffirmed their solidarity with Cuba and their commitment to continue advocating for the lifting of the unfair blockade imposed to the Island. The plenary also approved a statement highlighting the Cuban government's offer of a thousand scholarships to study medicine to the Colombian government and FARC-EP, as a contribution to the peace process in Colombia.
