Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Saint Lucia ratifies friendship towards Cuba
Castries, January 31, 2019. The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Saint Lucia, Honorable Andy Daniel received the Ambassador of Cuba in this country, Alejandro Simancas Marin at his office in the House of Parliament. During the meeting, they discussed the importance of encouraging relations between the Parliaments of both countries, from the role of Parliamentary Forces in the boosting and development of bilateral relations.
Cuba and CDEMA sign Regional Collaboration Agreement on Early Warning Systems in the Caribbean
The Chief of Operations of the Main National State of Civil Defense, William Cedeño Centeno signed this Friday, a Collaboration Agreement with the Caribbean Disaster and Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) for the continuity of Cuba’s work on subjects related to disaster risk management and the strengthening of Early Warning Systems in the region.

The meeting, which was held at the Office of the Department of External Affairs, allowed the two dignitaries to review principal aspects of the bilateral agenda, emphasizing cooperation in different areas such as Medicine, Sports and Construction.
