Message from the United Seychelles Party in support of Cuba on the occasion of the damage caused by Hurricane Ian

Victoria, October 4th._ The president of the United Seychelles Party, Dr. Patrick Herminie, in a message addressed to the heroic Cuban people, expressed his support and solidarity on the occasion of the damages caused by hurricane Ian, after its passage through the western region of the island last week.

We believe in the Cuban´s people determination to bring help to affected and that this new adversity will be faced with courage and unity, he said in the text.

Cuba denounces double standards of the U.S. regarding our country

Havana, Oct 1 (RHC) The deputy director general for the United States of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, Johana Tablada, denounced on Friday the double standards of the U.S. government, which claims to support the Cuban people while it applies a tight economic blockade on the country.

In her Twitter account, the Foreign Ministry official stressed that if they wanted to help, they would reverse at least one of the hundreds of measures freely imposed by former President Donald Trump (2017-2021).

Cuban Foreign Minister Urges US President Joe Biden to Lift Blockade

Havana, Sept 21 (ACN) President Joe Biden should be consistent with the respect he asked for today at the United Nations Organization and put an end to the blockade, said Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez.

Members of the Cuban state mission in Seychelles voted for the new Family Code.

Victoria, September 19th.._ The Cuban Embassy in Seychelles became this Sunday, September 18, the location of the Electoral College, where Cuban diplomats and health collaborators exercised their secret and direct vote for the new Family Code.

The new legislative norm was approved in its 25th version by the National Assembly last July, after an intense and enriching process of popular consultation that included the contribution of experts, academics and the population in general.
