Cuban Ambassador to Seychelles receives directors of the James R. Mancham Research Institute for Peace and Diplomacy

Victoria, 5th March._ Cuban Ambassador to Seychelles Martha Hernandez received at the diplomatic mission headquarters Diana Benoit and Ryan Adeline, director and senior researcher respectively of the James R. Mancham Institute for Peace Research and Diplomacy, a center under the University of Seychelles.

The meeting ratified the positions of Cuba and Seychelles on peacekeeping, state sovereignty, social justice, diplomacy and multilateralism as the only ways to solve conflicts.

President Díaz-Canel highlights Cuba's foreign policy

Havana, March 4 (RHC) -- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, highlighted this Monday the performance of the island's foreign policy, and urged its diplomats to continue activism and support for just causes throughout the world.

Addis Ababa, February 16, 2025 - For the sixteenth consecutive occasion, the 38th Assembly of the African Union, made up of the African Heads of State and Government, approved a resolution rejecting the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the government of the United States against Cuba, a cruel policy that has scourged the Cuban people for more than six decades.

The adopted text contemplates, for the second time, the African organization's request to remove the Caribbean nation from the arbitrary unilateral list of countries that allegedly sponsor terrorism.

Cuba and Seychelles explore artistic cooperation

Victoria, Feb 8 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Deputy Culture Minister Lizette Martinez, who is on an official visit to Seychelles on Saturday, discussed with Education Minister Justin Valentin the possibilities of cooperation in artistic education programs.

During the meeting, the two officials analyzed the possibilities of conforming syllabuses for artistic appreciation from early ages, training art teachers and artistic education specialists, diplomatic sources underscored.
