Liberians celebrate anniversary of the victory of the Cuban people against the most recent attempt of soft coup.

Monrovia, July 11, 2022 - In the afternoon, at our headquarters in Monrovia, a political-cultural activity took place on the occasion of the celebration of the first anniversary of the victory of the Cuban people against the most recent attempt of the enemies of the Cuban Revolution.

This activity also marked the beginning of the day of celebration of July 26th.

President of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association defines blockade of Cuba as the worst violation of Human Rights.

Monrovia, April 8, 2022 – In a meeting held with Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera, the president of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Group, Kesselee King Kanneh, today condemned the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba for more than 60 years, which he defined as the worst violation of Human Rights. He also ratified his rejection of this inhuman policy and denounced its extraterritorial character.

This time it does so through social networks by participating in the virtual event Solidarity against the Blockade, organized by the Institute of Friendship with the Peoples.

Liberia-Cuba Friendship Group joins the Cuban Embassy collective in Monrovia to denounce the US blockade against the island.

Monrovia, June 17, 2021 - Members of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Group and the Cuban Embassy collective in this West African country joined their voices and through the virtual event "Solidarity vs. Blockade" denounced the US political subversion and blockade of the largest of the Antilles.

Cuban Head of Mission holds friendly meeting with president of the Liberia-Cuba solidarity group.

Monrovia, June 10, 2021 - A friendly meeting was held today between the Cuban head of mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera and the president of the Liberia-Cuba solidarity group Mr. Kesselee King Kanneh.

During the meeting, the Cuban diplomat informed the head of the solidarity group in the African country about the celebration of a new virtual event Solidarity vs. Blockade and thanked the members of the friendship association for their firm support to Cuba against the blockade, aggressions and media manipulation.

Monrovia, September 17, 2020 - Young Liberians united with the collective of the Cuban Embassy in Liberia participated in the virtual event "Solidarity vs. Blockade", where they denounced the genocidal sanctions imposed on Cuba by the government of the United States.

Organized by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), the event included excellent interventions by friends from Ghana, Iran, Australia, El Salvador, and Timorese students, among others.
