The Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association congratulates on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Monrovia, April 18, 2021 - On April 19, 1974, Cuba and Liberia decided to establish diplomatic relations.

Under the concepts of respect and mutual assistance, both countries have since then strengthened their relations for the good of the Liberian and Cuban people.

Many of the members of the solidarity association are the fruit of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Tribute in Liberia to José Martí on the 168th anniversary of his birth.

Monrovia, January 28, 2021.- The Cuban Embassy in Liberia and the directors of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association paid tribute to the National Hero José Martí on the 168th anniversary of his birth, and once again demanded an end to the U.S. blockade to the Caribbean island.

Patent Liberian-Cuban Friendship Group, once again, petition to Nobel Peace Prize for Cuban medical collaborators.

Monrovia, June 24, 2020 - Today, through the "Nobel Peace Prize For Cuban Doctors" website, the Liberia-Cuba friendship group reiterated its support for the proposal that the Nobel Peace Prize be awarded to the Henry Reeve International Contingent of Doctors Specialized in Disaster Situations and Serious Epidemics.

Group of Liberian graduated in Cuba issues Official Statement.

Monrovia, April 5, 2020 - This afternoon, the "Group of Liberian graduated in Cuba" sent to our embassy in Monrovia and published in the social networks its declaration condemning the blockade in view of the situation faced by our country in its fight against the global pandemic COVID-19.

The document was sent to our diplomatic mission and posted on social networks by the executive member of this group, Mr. William Wesseh, a Liberian graduate in Cuba with a degree in Electromedicine.
