Cuban doctors and graduates in Cuba visit the rural community of Kwa-Zulu Natal
Kwa-Zulu Natal, November 17, 2018.- On November 15, a group of 16 South African medical students who returned from Cuba recently and who are receiving their training at Stanger Hospital, in the Province of Kwa-Zulu Natal, along with two Cuban collaborators and South African doctors graduated in Cuba, participated with the Provincial Director of Health, MEC Dr SM Dhlomo, in a campaign of visits homes, in the rural community of Kwa Ximba belonging to eThekwini.
The First National Meeting of Graduates in Cuba is held in South Africa
On November 10, in Freedom Park, a place that remembers Cubans fallen in the struggle for the liberation of Africa, took place the First National Meeting of the Association of Former South African Students in Cuba. The Association has as members hundreds of graduates in different specialties in our country, most of them doctors.
South African graduates in Cuba condemn the cruel policy of blockade
At the National Meeting of South African Graduated in Cuba, held at the historic site that treasures the names of Cubans fallen in the struggles for the liberation of Africa, Freedom Park, the South African alumni adopted a strong statement expressing their solidarity with the Cuban Revolution and the firm rejection to the policy of blockade that the government of the United States applies against our country.
SA thanks Cuba's contribution to the training of South African dancers
An emotional ceremony of diploma delivery to South African students and professors graduated in various ballet courses took place in the main theater of Montecasino, Johannesburg, on Saturday, October 27.
Nearly a hundred children, young people and teachers of different levels, trained in South Africa under the method of the Cuban School of Ballet, received their graduation diplomas from the Cuban Ambassador, Rodolfo Benítez Verson, Guest of Honor at the event.
