Graduates in Soweto, South Africa, South African ballet students and teachers trained with Cuban method
On July 28, more than 50 South African students and professors, trained under the Cuban method of teaching ballet, completed their third year of studies. The Cuban ballet teachers María de los Angeles Tourquet Quintanilla and Ayrin Villalón Tourquet taught them as part of a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Culture of Cuba.
Cuban Ambassador and South African Minister of Health receives first group of medical students.
On the night of July 7, the first group of medical students arrived in South Africa after finished their fifth year of studies in Cuba.
This group, which will be joined in the rest of the week by other students from Cuba,up to more than 700, will continue its sixth and last year of the career in South African health and university institutions.

Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, Minister in the Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation of the Republic of South Africa, accompanied by the Cuban authorities, lays wreath at OR Tambo bust, African Forefathers Park, Havana, as part of a work visit to our country.
She participated in the commemorative act for the Centennial of the birth of the South African leader, Nelson Mandela.
