Ambassador of Cuba presents his credentials to the King of Swaziland
In a ceremony held at the Royal Palace of Lozitha, the representative of Cuba Rodolfo Benítez Verson, presented on Thursday, March 22 to His Majesty Mswati III, King of Swaziland, the credentials that accredit him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba in that sister African nation.
In the occasion was to reiterated the gratitude of the Cuban government and people for the support of Swaziland to the just demand of the Cuban people for the lifting of the criminal blockade imposed by the US government.
Cuito Cuanavale: 30 years of a decisive battle for Africa

March 23, 2018 marks the 30th anniversary of the battle of Cuito Cuanavale, a small town in the Angolan province of Cuando Cubango, 825 kilometers southeast of Luanda, at the confluence of the Cuito and Cuanavale rivers, from which it takes its name.
That remote town became a symbol of resistance and courage, after the victory of the Popular Armed Forces for the Liberation of Angola (FAPLA), together with Cuban, Namibian and South African internationalists, against the army of the opprobrious Apartheid regime.
Cuban medical brigade in Swaziland: example of effort and humanism
On March 21, the Ambassador of Cuba in Swaziland, Rodolfo Benítez Verson, held a fruitful meeting with members of the Cuban Medical Brigade who provide their solidarity service throughout the territory of that country.
In the exchange, Dr. Raquel Toledo, head of the Brigade, presented the excellent results of the work in the last three years, in particular the experience of permanent efforts of our doctors to keep updated and serve with greater quality to the people of the African Kingdom.
Cuba exposes achievements of Cuban women in the Pan-African Parliament
On the occasion of International Women's Day this March 8, the Embassy of Cuba in South Africa organized an exhibition at the headquarters of the Pan-African Parliament, in the city of Midrand, which showed achievements of Cuban women in various fields.
The Cuban stand was visited and enjoyed by hundreds of visitors from all over the world. It included a sample of manual art in fabric, made by the women of the embassy, as well as an exhibition of cigars, traditional guayaberas, music of the Island and tasting of the unique Cuban mojito.
