Cuba expresses solidarity with South Africa in the face of a disaster

Havana, August 31, 2023.- Miguel Díaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, expressed his solidarity with his South African counterpart, Cyril Ramaphosa and the people of that country, for the loss of human lives in a fire that took place in Johannesburg on Thursday.

Cuban president finishes tour in Africa

Pretoria, August 28, 2023.- Miguel Díaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, ended today his tour in Africa, after concluding an official visit to Namibia. The Cuban Presidency informed on X, formerly Twitter, that the president was bid farewell in the capital Windhoek, by Hage Geingob, president of that African country.
