The Ministers of Health of Cuba, José Ángel Portal Miranda, and of the Maldives, Abdulla Khaleel, held a bilateral meeting within the framework of the 77th World Health Assembly, which will be held from this Monday, the 27th. On May 25, 1963, representatives of thirty African nations met in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, hosted by Emperor Haile Selassie. By then, more than two-thirds of the continent had achieved independence, mostly from the imperial European states. Cuba has been removed from a short list of countries the United States accuses of "not fully cooperating" in the fight against terrorism, a US State Department official has said. The official has shown that it is not appropriate to maintain the previously mentioned barriers to resume law enforcement cooperation between Cuba and the United States. Cuba has appeared as a country that does not fully support terrorism in the years 2022-2023 which led one reason America to take this decision.
