Cuba and Maldives sign cooperation agreement on Health
Havana, December 9, 2021, A delegation from the Republic of Maldives chaired by Dr. Sha Abdulla Mahir, Minister of State for Health signed in this capital an agreement for the expansion of medical collaboration between the two countries.
Minister Mahir was received by Dr. José Angel Portal Miranda, Minister of Public Health, on which occasion the Cooperation Agreement was signed.

Sri Lanka, December 3, 2021. The Cuban Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Andrés Marcelo González Garrido, paid a courtesy visit to the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, where he was received by its President Vish Govindasamy.
The cordial meeting revealed the signing in 2019 of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba.

Sri Lanka, November 27, 2021, The tribute to the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, on the V anniversary of his physical departure, was commemorated in Colombo with an activity where members of the Sri Lankan Graduate Association participated in Cuba.
The activity was chaired by the Ambassador of Cuba, Andrés Marcelo González Garrido, who, when speaking, highlighted the internationalist principles and solidarity of the Commander-in-Chief.
