Ambassador of Cuba participates in tribute to founder of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka
SRI LANKA, October 5, 2020. - The Ambassador of Cuba, Juana Elena Ramos Rodríguez, attended as a special guest the ceremony commemorating the 103rd birth anniversary of Pieter Keuneman, founder of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka.
In her speech, the Cuban Ambassador highlighted the meeting between Pieter Keuneman and the Commander in Chief in Havana in 1983, on the occasion of the III Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC).

A global pandemic has changed everyday life drastically. From one day to the next, millions of people get infected and thousands die even when their life expectancy was longer thanks to development. Hospital systems with high-level services have collapsed and the health structures of poor countries are affected by their chronic lack of capacity.
