Kingstown, February 4. The Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves, highlighted the selfless and supportive assistance of the government and people of Cuba to his country, as he proposed the Nobel Peace Prize to the Henry Reeve Cuban Medical Brigade.
Addressing the National Assembly on the occasion of the presentation of the Budget Plan for the year 2021, the Caribbean leader made a comment especially aimed at the Cuban contribution in that area and in the confrontation with Covid-19.
Kingstown, January 14. Today we met with the nine Vincentian students who will soon be leaving for our country to begin their Bachelor's degree studies in Nursing and Medicine.
The Cuban Ambassador to the Caribbean island explained to the young people and their parents the characteristics of our education system and the profound solidarity work of our Revolution. He also commented on passages of our history, about Cuban heroes and highlighted the brotherhood that unites both peoples and governments.
The St Vincent and the Grenadines/Cuba Friendship Society extends warm and fraternal greetings to the Government and People of the Republic of Cuba on the occasion of the celebration of the 62nd anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution. Cuba is very dear to our hearts and each year our admiration for the courage, determination and selfless solidarity of Cuba intensifies.
Kingstown, December 28. With the presence of government authorities, the day of summary of a year of work in St. Vincent and the Grenadines was celebrated yesterday. During this activity, the work carried out was reviewed and all the collaborators were encouraged for their outstanding role in this challenging year 2020.
