Monrovia, January 8, 2022 - On a day like today, 63 years ago, the triumphal entry of the Rebel Army into Havana took place, led by Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.

Ominous silence by US on Cuban embassy terrorism attack

On Thursday, April 30 this year, at 2.05am, a terrorist attack was perpetrated against the Cuban Embassy in the US.

Thirty-two rounds were fired from a semi-automatic assault rifle at our diplomatic mission in Washington DC.

At the time of the events, there were 10 officials in the building. If the attack had taken place at another time, the story would be different. A massacre could have occurred.

Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association condemns terrorist acts against Cuba.

Monrovia, October 6, 2020 - Today, Day of the Victims of State Terrorism, our diplomatic headquarters in Liberia received a visit from the President of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association, Kesselee K. Kanneh, who was received by our Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.

Our Liberian friend was the bearer of a message condemning terrorist actions against Cuba orchestrated and financed by the United States for 60 years.

Monrovia, October 6, 2020 - The Cuban Embassy in Liberia today paid tribute to the 73 victims of the terrorist attack committed 44 years ago against a Cubana de Aviación plane off the coast of Barbados, and whose perpetrators were never brought to justice for the crime.

The crime in Barbados is considered to be the worst attack of this kind in the Western Hemisphere and one of the most brutal acts of terrorism carried out against the Cuban Revolution by people in the service of the CIA.
