Cubans in Trinidad and Tobago pay tribute to Fidel on his 96th birthday.

Port of Spain, August 13, 2022. The Embassy group, health collaborators and representatives of Cuban residents, celebrate the 96th birthday of the largest giant. The audiovisual made with phrases, images, as well as anecdotes and evaluations extracted from the publication "I met Fidel" by the Cuban journalist Wilmer Rodríguez, allowed us to get closer to the depth of his historical, political, and revolutionary thought and to learn even more about his personality.

The Trinidad and Tobago Petroleum Workers Union sends a message of solidarity to the Cuban people.

Port of Spain, August 10, 2022. The Trinidad and Tobago Oil Workers Union (OWTU) sent a message of solidarity to the Cuban people, due to the incident that occurred at the Matanzas Supertanker Base last August 5.

They highlighted the solidarity role played by Cuba to stop the Ebola and Covid19 epidemics in several countries of the world regardless of political inclination, race or religion. They also reaffirmed the solidary support to the Cuban people considered as an unbreakable example of hope for humanity.

The Association of Cuban Residents (ACR) in Trinidad and Tobago conveys condolences for the accident in the industrial zone of Matanzas.

Port of Spain, August 7, 2022. With heartfelt words of pain, the ACR in Trinidad and Tobago conveyed its condolences to the people of Matanzas for the unfortunate accident that occurred on August 5 at the Matanzas Supertanker Base.

The accompaniment and solidarity of the Cubans to the people of Matanzas was proclaimed in the transferred message, in which they also thanked the expressions of sympathy and support received from the international community in the face of the incident.
