Cubans residing in Trinidad and Tobago will be represented at the VI Regional Meeting of CRE in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The compatriot Jacqueline Laguardia Martínez will be the representative of Cubans residing in Trinidad and Tobago at the VI Regional Meeting of CRE in Latin America and the Caribbean. She held a meeting with Counselor Patricia Pita Calderón at the Cuban diplomatic headquarters yesterday, on the occasion they exchanged about the General Call for the Meeting launched by the Network of Cuban Residents in Latin America and the Caribbean in conjunction with the Association of Cubans and Cuban Residents in Venezuela (ACCREVEN).

The US Newspaper The Wall Street Journal published on June 8 a totally untrue and unfounded information, according to which there allegedly exists an agreement between Cuba and China in the military area for the establishment of a supposed espionage facility.

In the last few days, prestigious Cuban artists and intellectuals have been the targets of aggression, attacks, instigated and perpetrated by elements of the transnational extreme right wing, at events in certain European countries. The most recent examples have been the reprehensible attacks, with impunity, on the Buena Fe duo in certain settings in Spain and the shameful revocation of the distinguished writer Nancy Morejón’s appointment as Honorary Chair of the Paris Poetry Market in France.
