Today, the government of the United States announced several measures, which are positive but of a very limited scope, regarding Cuba associated to the granting of visas, regular migration, flights to Cuban provinces, remittances and adjustments to the regulations governing transactions with the non-state sector.

Port of Spain, May, 7th, 2022. The group of the Embassy of Cuba in Trinidad and Tobago, regrets the painful accident that occurred at the Saratoga Hotel in Old Havana yesterday. We extend our condolences to the families and friends of the victims; Wishing the speedy recovery of the injured. It is the Force of a country that fights and tirelessly and unconditionally supports its people to mitigate the pain that overwhelms us, and of which we have all been victims.
Cubans in Trinidad and Tobago convey condolences for the accident at the Saratoga Hotel.
Port of Spain, May 7, 2022. Cubans residing in Trinidad and Tobago sent, through messages, their condolences, support and wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured at the Hotel Saratoga.
Some expressed their willingness to give their arms for blood donations if necessary and highlighted the solidarity and human attitude of our people in these difficult times for the families and friends of the victims and disappeared.
