The MSJ extends its condolences to the families affected by the explosion at the Saratoga Hotel.

The political leader of the Social Justice Movement (MSJ), David Abdulah, on behalf of the Movement, extended his solidarity to the Cuban Government and people for the difficult situation they are facing . They expressed their condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragedy that occurred at the Saratoga Hotel. They also conveyed wishes for a speedy recovery for all those who were injured in the accident.

I have to report that Washington has decided to exclude the Republic of Cuba from the preparations for the 9th Summit of the Americas to be held in Los Angeles on 8th to 10th June and is presently exerting extreme pressures on numerous governments in the region which, privately and respectfully, oppose our exclusion.

Port of Spain, April 24, 2022. A representation of Cubans residing in Trinidad and Tobago raised their voices demanding that the US government lift the blockade against Cuba.
Making use of the audiovisual, they clearly expressed the consequences of the blockade policy imposed against our country and the damage caused to the Cuban people and family for 60 decades without interruption.
