New York, 22 March 2017. As part of his visit to New York City, prominent Cuban intellectual Miguel Barnet held a meeting with the staff of the Permanent Mission of Cuba to the United Nations.
Diplomatic officials, workers and their relatives, as well as some representatives of the Cuban Women Federation, joined Barnet while warmly evoking the Historical Leader of the Revolution several times during the meeting, who he referred to as “The Enlightened”.

New York, 31 January 2017. As part of the program for his visit to New York, Eusebio Leal, Historian of the City of Havana, met with the staff of the Permanent Mission of Cuba to the UN.
Diplomatic officials, employees and their relatives had the privilege to listen to the emotional evocation of the Historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution made by Dr. Leal who, with heartfelt words, gave an overview on the life and work of the Commander in Chief.
Eusebio Leal visits Google´s offices in New York.
New York, 30 January 2017. Eusebio Leal, Historian of the City of Havana, visited today Google´s New York offices. He was received by Eric Schmidt, CEO of the multinational entity, and interacted with a group of executives and members of the working team of this office.
During the meeting, held on a very warm environment, Leal acknowledged the collaboration of the technology giant in producing “Nuestro Martí” 3D short film premiered in Havana and New York on January 12 and 28 respectively.

New York, 28 January 2017. Dr. Eusebio Leal Spengler, Historian of the City of Havana, participated in the presentation in the United States of “Nuestro Martí” multimedia short film, which is the product of a collaborative effort involving the Office under his leadership and the Google Company.
The event, held at the Sikkema Jenkins & Co art gallery in Manhattan, involved the participation of a large number of personalities of the field of culture, scholars, businessmen and representatives of other sectors in the city.
