The United Nations recognizes Cuba for its contribution to the organization's budget for 2019.
New York, January 31, 2019. Cuba was included in the so-called Honor Roll of the United Nations, for having paid in full its regular budget assessments to the Organization, relevant to the year 2019. The island was Member State number 27 in contributing to the budget of the UN.
In addition, Cuba has completed the payment of most of its budget assessments for Peacekeeping Operations, among other financial commitments it has with the United Nations.
