President of Cuba celebrates anniversary of Havana

Havana, 16 November 2022. The first mass and town council took place in the shade of a Ceiba tree in 1519, marking the foundation site of San Cristobal de La Habana (Havana), which celebrates its 503rd anniversary on Wednesday.

Havana trade fair FIHAV 2022 opens in Cuba

Havana, 14 November 2022. The 38th edition of the Havana International Fair, FIHAV 2022, Cuba's major trade and exhibition event, brings together more than 60 countries at the Expocuba fairgrounds this Monday.

Top-level delegations headed by ministers, high-level government officials, entrepreneurs, and other foreign actors from nations such as China, Russia, Spain, France, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, United Arab Emirates, and Laos are attending the fair until Friday, November 18.

Cuban delegation active at climate change conference

New York, 14 November 2022.  Elba Rosa Pérez Montoya, Cuba's Minister of Science, Technology and the Environment (CITMA), heads her country’s delegation to the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 27) held in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt.
