Cuba participates in the important tourism fair World Travel Market London 2024.
Cuba will participate in the prestigious World Travel Market London (WTM), which for more than four decades has brought together the most important players in the global tourism sector. This will be another opportunity to present our country as a safe and attractive destination to the British and international public. The fair will be held at the prestigious ExCeL London convention center from November 5 to 7.
Distinction for National Culture awarded to Parvathi Kumaraswami and Antoni Kapcia, unconditional friends of Cuba
London, 31 October 2024. British academics from the Nottingham University Parvathi Kumaraswami and Antoni Kapcia, who study and disseminate Cuba's historical and cultural memory, were awarded Cuba’s Distinction for National Culture at the 30th edition of the Fiesta de la Cubanía in Bayamo, in the province of Granma. Their outstanding contribution to the promotion and preservation of Cuban history and culture was, therefore, recognized.
British firms to attend FIHAV 2024
London, 29 October. The fortieth edition of the Havana International Trade Fair FIHAV 2024 will include British companies among its participants. As a result of the broad promotion and dissemination of the event conducted by the Cuban Embassy in the UK, the trade fair will be attended by British businesspeople seeking to explore business opportunities and take part in the Seventh Investment Forum.
