Zimbabwe will be present at the International Congress "Pedagogy 2023"

Harare, 27.01.23. The Minister of Primary and Secondary Education of Zimbabwe, Hon. Dr. Evelyn Ndlovu, receives the Chargé d'Affaires a.i of Cuba, Yoisy Ford García, at the Ministry. At the meeting, Ndlovu expressed gratitude for the invitation of her Cuban counterpart to attend the International Congress "Pedagogy 2023", she considered it an honor for her to participate in the event.

Zimbabwe Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group for a year of new victories in support of Cuba

The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of Cuba in Harare, Yoisy Ford García, held a friendly meeting with the Honorable Senator Chen Chimutengwende, president of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba and patron of the Zimbabwe-Cuba Friendship Association (ZICUFA). Also present were Dr. Stanley Mungofa and Debrah Gwati, President and Vice President of ZICUFA respectively.

Zimbabwe ratifies interest in strengthening and diversifying cooperation in the Industry and Commerce sector

Harare, 20.10.23. The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of Cuba in Zimbabwe, Yoisy Ford García, held a meeting with the Zimbabwean Minister of Industry and Commerce, Honorable Dr. Sekai Nzenza. During the exchange, the interest of both countries in strengthening and diversifying mutual cooperation was highlighted. Cuba is a victim of the genocidal US blockade and Zimbabwe of sanctions from Western countries. These unilateral and coercive measures hinder the development of their societies.

The President of Zimbabwe sends a message of condolences to the President of Cuba for the fire that occurred at the Supertanker base in Matanzas

The President of Zimbabwe, HE Emmerson D. Mnangagwa sends a message of condolences to the Cuban President, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez. In the Mnangagwa letter, he laments the tragedy that occurred at the Supertanker base in the province of Matanzas just three months after the painful incident at the Hotel Saratoga. He expresses that the people of Zimbabwe have their thoughts and prayers with the friendly people of Cuba and the families of those who lost their lives or are missing. He wishes the injured a speedy recovery.

Zimbabwe ratifies its unconditional support for Cuba in the fight against the US blockade

The charge d'affaires a.i. of Cuba in Zimbabwe, Yoisy Ford García, was received at the Zimbabwean Foreign Ministry by the Director of Multilateral Affairs a.i., Mr. Munetsi Malverin Bere. The meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere; Mr. Bere conveyed the unconditional support of his country to the Caribbean island in the fight against the blockade. He noted that both countries are victims of unfair sanctions, which violate international law. He conveyed his deepest condolences for the human and material damage caused by the fire at the Supertanker base in Matanzas.
