Cuba participates in the 7th Conference of the ZANU-PF Women's League

The Caribbean island was invited as the only country on the continent of the Americas to participate in the 7th Conference of the ZANU Women's League –PF. The event was held in the city of Harare from June 23 to 26, 2022. The Chargé d' Affaires a.i. from the Embassy of Cuba in Zimbabwe, Yoisy Ford García, represented the Federation of Cuban Women and in her speech highlighted the achievements made in recent decades. She repudiated the US blockade against the island, causing irreparable damage to several generations of Cubans.

Cuban Revolution will be present at the African Liberation Museum

The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. from Cuba in Zimbabwe, Yoisy Ford García, visited the African Liberation Museum. The Cuban representative was received by the Director of Public Relations of the museum, Mr. Joseph Nkani and other officials. This project arose with the aim of honoring African history, its independence struggles and the creation of the Organization of African Unity, now the African Union.

Cuba and Zimbabwe strengthen ties in the biotech sector

Charge d'Affaires a.i. from the Embassy of Cuba in Zimbabwe, Yoisy Ford García, is invited to participate in a virtual meeting between directors of Biocubafarma and the Zimbabwean counterpart company. On the Zimbabwean side, the Ambassador of Zimbabwe in Cuba, H.E. Mr. Ignatius Graham Mudzimba, Dr. C. Gomo, Director of Biotech Pharmaceutical Zimbabwe and other officials from the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technological Development. The occasion was propitious to exchange topics of common interest in order to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

Zimbabwe thanks Cuba for cooperation in the education sector

In the context of the Africa´s Day, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. from the Embassy of Cuba in Zimbabwe, Counsellor Yoisy Ford García in the company of Mr. Lovemore Gwati, member of the Zimbabwe-Cuba Friendship Association, paid a visit to the University of Scientific Education of Bindura. The Cuban representative was received by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Eddie Mwenje and other members of the institution's management.
