El pasado 13 de marzo el gobierno del Reino Unido de Gran Bretaña e Irlanda del Norte solicitó a las autoridades cubanas el permiso de atraque en un puerto cubano del crucero MS Braemar, de la línea Fred Olsen, con un pequeño número de viajeros afectados por el nuevo coronavirus (SARS CoV 2/Covid-19), y su repatriación por vía aérea.
Ante la urgencia de la situación y el riesgo para la vida de las personas enfermas, el gobierno de Cuba ha decidido permitir el atraque de esta embarcación y adoptará las medidas sanitarias establecidas para recibir a todos los ciudadanos a bordo, bajo los protocolos establecidos por la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) y el Ministerio de Salud Pública de Cuba.
De conjunto con las autoridades británicas, se ha organizado que una vez que los cruceristas arriben a territorio nacional, se proceda al retorno seguro e inmediato de estos viajeros al Reino Unido en vuelos charter de compañías aéreas a ese país.
Son tiempos de solidaridad, de entender la salud como un derecho humano, de reforzar la cooperación internacional para hacer frente a nuestros desafíos comunes, valores que son inherentes a la práctica humanista de la Revolución y de nuestro pueblo.

Cuba to receive British cruise ship MS Braemar
Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba.
Last March 13, the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland requested from the Cuban authorities that MS Braemar, a member of the Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, be authorized to dock in a Cuban port and that its passengers, a small number of which have been affected by the novel coronavirus (SARS CoV 2/Covid-19), be cleared for repatriation by air.
In view of the urgency posed by this situation and the risks for the lives of these affected individuals, the Cuban government has decided to allow this vessel to dock. Its existing sanitary measures will be implemented, so that everyone on board is received in compliance with the protocols set by both the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Cuban Ministry of Public Health.
In coordination with the British authorities, arrangements have been made for the safe and immediate return of these cruise passengers to the United Kingdom on UK chartered airliners, once they arrive in Cuba.
These times call for solidarity, understanding health as a human right and strengthening international cooperation in order to address our common challenges; i.e., values that are inherent to the humanist practice of the Cuban Revolution and people.

Cuba accueillera le navire de croisière britannique MS Braemar
Déclaration du ministère cubain des Relations extérieures
Le 13 mars, le gouvernement du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord a demandé aux autorités cubaines que le navire de croisière MS Braemar, appartenant à la ligne Fred Olsen, dont un petit nombre de passagers est atteint du nouveau coronavirus (SARS CoV 2/Covid-19), reçoive l’autorisation d’accoster un port cubain et que les passagers puissent être rapatriés par voie aérienne.
Compte tenu de l’urgence de cette situation et du risque que court la vie des personnes infectées, le gouvernement cubain a décidé de permettre l’accostage de ce navire et adoptera toutes les mesures sanitaires établies pour accueillir tous les passagers selon les protocoles fixés par l’Organisation mondiale de la santé (OMS) et le ministère cubain de la Santé publique.
De concert avec les autorités britanniques, une fois que les passagers seront arrivés sur le territoire national, ils seront renvoyés immédiatement, en toute sécurité, au Royaume-Uni dans des vols nolisés de compagnies aériennes de ce pays.
Les temps actuels sont ceux de la solidarité, quand la santé doit être considérée comme un droit de l’homme, quand il faut renforcer la solidarité internationale pour faire face aux problèmes communs, toutes valeurs qui sont inhérentes à la pratique humaniste de la Révolution et du peuple cubain.

13 марта текущего года правительство Соединенного королевства Великобритании и Северной Ирландии обратилось к кубинским властям с просьбой разрешить швартовку в кубинском порту круизного судна MS Braemar компании Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, на борту которого находится небольшая группа пассажиров, зараженных новым коронавирусом SARS CoV 2/Covid-19, в целях эвакуации этих больных на родину воздушным путем.
Ввиду безотлагательного характера ситуации и опасности для жизни заболевших людей, правительство Кубы решило разрешить швартовку судна с применением всех установленных санитарных мер для приема всех находящихся на борту граждан согласно протоколу действий, предусмотренных Всемирной организацией здравоохранений (ВОЗ) и Министерством здравоохранения Кубы.
Совместно с властями Великобритании предусмотрены следующие действия: по прибытии на территорию Кубы пассажиры круизного судна будут немедленно отправлены безопасным путем в Соединенное Королевство чартерными рейсами авиакомпаний этой страны.
Сегодня – время солидарности, время, когда право на здоровье следует считать правом человека, когда необходимо укреплять международное сотрудничество, чтобы противостоять нашим общим проблемам, ибо именно эти ценности лежат в основе гуманизма Революции и нашего народа.

كوبا ستستقبل السفينة السياحية "MS Braemar""
بيان صادر عن وزارة العلاقات الخارجية
في الثالث عشر من آذار/مارس الجاري، طلبت حكومة المملكة المتحدة لبريطانيا العظمى وشمال إيرلندا من السلطات الكوبية السماح بالرسوّ في مرفأ كوبي للسفينة السياحية "MS Braemar"، التابعة لشركة "فريد أولسن"، وعلى متنها عدد من المسافرين المصابين بفيروس كورونا (كوفيد-19) المستجد وإعادة هؤلاء إلى موطنهم جوّاً.
أمام عجالة الوضع والخطر على حياة الأشخاص المرضى، قررت الحكومة الكوبية السماح لهذه السفينة بالرّسو وستتخذ الإجراءات الصحية المقررة لاستقبال المواطنين الموجودين على متنها، وذلك وفقاً للمراسم والنظم المعتمدة من قبل منظمة الصحة العالمية ووزارة الصحة العامة الكوبية.
بالتنسيق مع السلطات البريطانية، تم تنظيم الطريقة التي سيباشَر بها تأمين العودة الآمنة والفورية في حال وصول هؤلاء المسافرين إلى الأراضي الوطنية إلى بريطانيا في رحلات جوية فنية (شارتر) تسيّرها شركات نقل جوي من هذا البلد.
إنه زمن التضامن والتعامل مع الصحة كحق إنساني وتعزيز التعاون الدولي لمواجهة التحديات المشتركة، وهي قيم ملازمة للممارسة الإنسانية التي اتسمت بها ثورتنا وشعبنا.
