Kenya. Ambassadors and High Commissioners Angola, India, Mozambique, Colombia and Cuba paid tribute to Cuban National Hero Jose Marti in the 162 anniversary of his birth, emphasizing his thought and action as a prelude to the triumphant Revolution in 1959 in a friendly match held in the Cuban residence. The diplomats expressed their satisfaction with the process that takes place between the United States and Cuba for the restoration of diplomatic relations between the two countries, highlighting Cuba's position on respect for their sovereignty and the economic and political system chosen by the Cuban people.
