I had the great honor of participating in the tribute that the Eternal Commander Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías surrendered in Athens, commemorating the tenth anniversary of his physical disappearance, on March 5, 2013.
The event was held at the premises of the “Our America Cultural Center” and, after the presentation of the documentary that includes the last meeting of the Council of Ministers presided by the Venezuelan leader, we listened to the emotional words of the Charge d´Affairs of that brother country in Greece, Freddy Fernández Torres.
I could also ratify the great admiration and respect that Cubans feel for that real revolutionary leader, endearing friend of Fidel and Cuba and a faithful continuator of the ideas of the Liberator Simón Bolivar. I highlighted the importance of his legacy and contributions to the struggle of our Latin American and world peoples.
