Rome, July 24, 2023 - The UN Food System Summit +2 was opened at the FAO Headquarters with the statement delivered by the UN Secretary-General, António Guterres.
The event, which brings together representatives of various States and relevant stakeholders will analyse the food systems support in order to provide an update on the progress made since the Summit that took place in 2021.
Rome, May 20th, 2022 - Ambassador Mirta Aurora Granda Averhoff presented to WFP Executive Director, David Beasley, the Letters of Credence that accredits her as Permanent Representative of Cuba to the World Food Programme (WFP).
During a private meeting with the Executive Director, both diplomats ratified the excellent and fruitful relations between WFP and Cuba, as well as the will to continue strengthening them.
