59 session of the IPCC

Nairobi, July 25, 2023- The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has convened its 59th meeting (IPCC 59) at the United Nations Offices at Nairobi, from 25 to 28 July 2023. This meeting will kick off the 7th IPCC assessment cycle. 

The Cuban delegation who attend the meeting is composed by Celso Pazos Alberdi, Director General of the Institute of Meteorology and Permanent Representative of Cuba to the World Meteorological Organization, Ramón Pichs Madruga, Director of the World Economic Research Centre and Vice-Chair of the IPCC Working Group III, and Edisleydi Curbelo Garcia, III Secretary and Deputy Permanent Representative to United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
