Lecture of Opportunity to Course 28- 2025/2026 Participants by Cuban Ambassador to Kenya

Ambassador Inés Fors Fernández, delivered a high-level lecture to participants of Course 28-2025/2026 at the National Defence College on 17 March 2026. Her lecture focused on the panorama of contemporary Cuba, in particular, the situation that the country is experiencing due to the effects of the US blockade against the Island and the resilience of the Cuban people in the face of this challenge, economic and financial war imposed for more than 60 years.

Under the theme of Sovereignty, Law, and Territorial Integrity, the Cuban Ambassador to Kenya gave an interview to the Kenyan radio and television station KTN Spice FM, accompanied by Benedict Wachira, president of the Friendship Association with Cuba in the African nation.

Cuba and Kenya to finalize environmental cooperation

Cuban Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Inés Fors Fernández, held a follow-up meeting with Dr. Festus K. Ngeno, Principal Secretary of the State Department for Environment and Climate Change of the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry of the Republic of Kenya. The meeting marks an important step forward in strengthening environmental cooperation between Kenya and the Republic of Cuba.

Antifascist International Kenya in solidarity with Cuba

The Antifascist International Kenya Chapter expressed its unwavering solidarity with Cuba following the United Nations General Assembly’s historic and unanimous vote, where 165 nations courageously called for the end of the more than 60-year economic embargo imposed by the United States.
