Cuban Ambassador to Kenya Calls on Minister of Education

The Kenya Cabinet Secretary for Education, Hon. Julius MIGOS Ogamba, hosted the Ambassador of Cuba to Kenya, H.E. Inés Fors Fernández for a meeting at the Ministry.

The meeting explored opportunities for strenghthening the existing bilateral cooperation between Kenya and Cuba in the area of education.

Cuba remains a key partner to Kenya in the field of education, offering world-class training opportunities that have helped build Kenya’s human capital in the health sector.

The Government of Cuba periodically offers undergraduate scholarships for Kenyan students to pursue medical studies in Cuba.
