Copenhagen, March 4. The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba, in the Kingdom of Denmark, celebrated the 64th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution, together with the Solidarity Movement at the headquarters of the 3F-BJMF Union.
The Ambassador of Cuba in the Nordic nation, Roger López García, highlighted the meaning of the date, the achievements of all these years, despite the tightening of the economic blockade, its system of laws and measures, and the arbitrary inclusion of Cuba in the list of States Sponsors of Terrorism. The act, in turn, was a propitious occasion to extend greetings to all women on March 8.
The leader of 3F, and Union Secretary in Copenhagen, Caja Bruhn, on behalf of her organization, highlighted the importance of Solidarity with Cuba, and sent a message of support to all his people for the resistance maintained in these six decades of Criminal blockade.
The celebration was attended by the President of the Communist Party (KP), Lotte Rørtoft-Madsen, and the President of the Kpid, Rikki Carlsson, along with representatives of both parties, union members, and members of the Cuban Community in Denmark.
In a night that culminated in a “Cuban Party”, the friends of Solidarity announced the organization of the 1st Brigade. de Mayo, and fundraising to send a container to Cuba. Likewise, they reiterated the permanent support for the struggle of the Cuban people for the elimination of the hostile policy of the United States.
