• We demand the immediate lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba.
• We continue in our country the broad action marked by the #UnBlockCuba campaign, expanding the concentration of more forces.
• We support the ongoing global solidarity campaign to send material assistance to Cuba to help cope with the effects of the pandemic.

The events of July 11 in Cuba are the result of opportunistic pressure from Washington over the past 16 months: as the island successfully faces another wave of the pandemic, the tightening of the blockade imposes new barbaric restrictions on the Cuban people.
The United States seeks to strangle Cuba's socialist economy by affecting its exports of goods and services, thus limiting its access to fuel, medicines, and raw materials for the pharmaceutical industry.
At the same time, the imperialists are trying to paint a picture of a country in chaos to set the stage for an intervention. They finance individuals and small groups with the aim of organizing social unrest. We strongly condemn the violent and antisocial acts of these elements who serve the enemies of their homeland.
We know that the Cuban people have proudly chosen the path of sustainable socialist development, the path of true independence, and know how to defend their exemplary conquests. We support the Cuban people and their government in the face of these serious challenges.
