There are no talks with the US government, except for technical contacts in the area of migration.
We have always been willing to engage in serious and responsible dialogue with the various US administrations, including the current one, on the basis of sovereign equality, mutual respect, principles of international law, mutual benefit without interference in internal affairs, and with full respect for our independence.
ATHENS INTERNATIONAL TOURISM AND CULTURE FAIR CONCLUDES
Athens, Greece, December 10, 2025 — The 12th Athens International Tourism and Culture Fair (AIT Expo) concluded today with positive results, highlighting Cuba's successful participation.
The presence of the Cuban Embassy, from December 8 to 10 at the Zappeion Exhibition & Conference Hall, marked a milestone in the Caribbean island's strategy to strengthen its position in the Greek and Southeast European markets.
GRULAC HELLAS HEADS OF MISSION HOLD MONTHLY MEETING
The heads of mission of the Latin American Group in Athens held their regular monthly meeting, concluding this year of uninterrupted work. On this occasion, the Ambassador of Brazil, His Excellency Mr. Paulo Roberto Caminha de Castilhas França, served as host.
In a cordial atmosphere, the Group met with Mr. Ioannis Smyrlis, Director General of the New Democracy Party, who participated as a special guest.
LATIN AMERICAN BAZAR OF ASCLAYE
WE ATTENDED THE ANNUAL LATIN AMERICAN BAZAAR OF THE LATIN AMERICAN CULTURAL ASSOCIATION OF ASCLAYE (LATIN AMERICAN AND SPANISH SOCIOCULTURAL ALLIANCE IN GREECE), HELD IN THE SCIENTOLOGY EVENTS HALL. MEMBERS OF THE CUBAN COMMUNITY RESIDING IN GREECE ALSO PARTICIPATED IN THE EVENT.
ASCLAYE'S MAIN OBJECTIVE IS TO PROMOTE LATIN AMERICAN CULTURE. THE EVENT INCLUDED FOOD, FOLK ART, TRADITIONAL DRINKS, SINGERS, AND A MUSICAL GROUP. EXHIBITORS FROM MEXICO, PERU, CHILE, PARAGUAY, COLOMBIA, THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, AND CUBA, AMONG OTHERS, PARTICIPATED.
