Today, Cuban Ambassador Aramís Fuente Hernández met with Loukas Karatsolis, Director of the A7 Directorate for North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean of the Greek Foreign Ministry.
In a cordial atmosphere, the two diplomats exchanged views on the state of bilateral relations. Furthermore, given that Ambassador Fuente Hernández currently holds the position of Dean of GRULAC, they also discussed the upcoming celebration of Latin American and Caribbean Day in Athens, which is usually organized by the Greek Foreign Ministry and the region's embassies accredited to Greece.
Meeting between the Ambassador and the President of the Greece-Cuba Friendship Group of the Hellenic Parliament.
A formal meeting was held today at the Hellenic Parliament between the President of the Greece-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group, Mr. Georgios Amyras, and the Cuban Ambassador to Greece, Mr. Aramis Fuente Hernández.
During the meeting, the two discussed bilateral relations and the shared interest in continuing to strengthen the bonds of friendship and collaboration between the parliaments and other institutions of the two countries.
SOLIDARITY ACT WITH VENEZUELA IN ATHENS
A solidarity meeting with the people of Venezuela was held in the meeting room of the Greek Journalists' Syndicate. The meeting denounced the maneuvers and aggressive escalation carried out by US imperialism against that people.
The event, which was well attended, was organized by the Greek chapter of the Network in Defense of Humanity and the organization "We Are All Venezuela."
