Fourth International Colloquium "Patria"

With the presence of Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, the Fourth International Colloquium "Patria" was inaugurated. The event is being held in Cuba until March 19th under the motto "We are peoples weaving networks."
The event takes place as part of the Cuban Press Day and coincides with the 133rd anniversary of the newspaper founded by José Martí, from which it takes its name, and celebrates the 20th anniversary of teleSUR. It brings together more than 400 guests from 47 countries.

VIDEO CONFERENCE HELD BETWEEN SENIOR OFFICIALS OF THE MINCEX OF CUBA AND THE MFA OF GREECE

A video conference between delegations of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece was held on February 17.
The Cuban side was chaired by the First Deputy Minister of MINCEX, Carlos Luis Jorge, and the Greek side was headed by the Secretary General of International Economic Affairs and President of the Board of Directors of Enterprise Greece, Dimitris Skalkos.

With the notes of the national anthems of Cuba and Greece, played by the Concert Band of the Municipality of Athens, the event commemorating the 172nd anniversary of the birth of the Cuban National Hero José Martí, on January 28, 1853, in Havana, began this morning.
